In spring of 2024 I moved to the beautiful state of North Carolina - and while the sunny weather was certainly a draw, I had another mission in mind. I wanted to take a deep dive into my family roots that run through this historic southern soil.
After some initial research and document diving, I decided to create a comprehensive list of my North Carolina ancestors—and I even included a few from my daughter's partner's side! This list is becoming the foundation of my research plan, and I'm bubbling with excitement to share it with you all. I know I have a couple other lines that will probably lead me to North Carolina ancestors, but I'll focus on these first.
